Adana area is an ocean of W.Murcot trees. Expect the production volumes to grow exponentially over the next 5 years. Although the Murcott is a very tasty and a well colored variety, the climate in Adana is forcing the packers to harvest the fruit before it reaches full maturity. Therefore Adana Murcott can be a bit more sour and greenish than other supplying countries. Nevertheless, Adana produces a strong quality Murcott that will take over the markets with sound quality and big volumes. Available mostly in 52-68mm.
