Okitsu harvest starts around 20th of September and it is the earliest mandarin available at Özler. As all citrus varieties coming out during this period need degreening, Okitsu also undergoes intensive degreening which might negatively affect shelf life. As a result Okitsu is mostly preferred with its natural greenish color in the domestic market. Available mostly in 52-80mm.
Recommended period for export is week 40 to week 43.
